The good news | Orrick Elevator Helps Renovation of Dandong Guanfeng Yunding Shantytown to Realize People's Dream of Settlement
Aurek Elevator Co., Ltd. assisted Dandong Guanfeng Yunding shantytown renovation project with 33 800/1000KG passenger elevators. Dandong Guanfeng Yunding shantytown renovation project, also known as Aimingou shantytown renovation, is a high-rise residential building located in Yuanbao District, Dandong City.
The Aimingou shantytown renovation project covers an area of about 30 hectares. The expropriation area extends from the south to the east, to the natural mountains in the north, to the seven natural mountains in the east, and to Jinjiang Mountain in the west. It is the largest shed renovation project in Dandong City in recent years. The renovation project involves more than 2000 shed renovation residents. Since September 1, 2015, the signing of housing expropriation has been officially launched, and it is expected that residents will be organized to move back before the end of 2017.
Before the renovation, Aimingou was a shantytown gathering area with poor living environment and weak infrastructure in Dandong City. The old houses were basically more than ten square meters. On weekdays, it was necessary to carry water and coal, and it was hundreds of meters to go to the toilet. After the transformation, the green area of the community and the infrastructure such as leisure and entertainment are perfect. The units range from 30-90 square meters, and the room lighting is relatively good. The open corridor makes the houses of slightly larger units basically transparent from north to south. This time, the Dandong Municipal Government accelerated the process of the relocation project under the premise of ensuring quality, shortened the relocation time, and effectively helped the people realize their "dream of living in peace" for decades ".
